This session will identify and explore opportunities for creating one-of-a-kind experiences in a variety of settings, including crowded tourism destinations and more remote locations. The emphasis will be on the importance of integrating cultural and historical elements into the design of hospitality spaces to maintain a sense of place and identity. The session will also explore how the diverse market sects of travelers are responding to industry shifts to appropriately target demographics.
