Chief Executive Officer, Travel Culture Collab

Matt Cooper is a marketing and business development strategist with 30 years of experience promoting travel and tourism in the Caribbean and Latin America. 
He founded Travel Culture Collab in 2019 to provide innovative solutions for various aspects of commercial strategy for hotels and destination marketing organizations: Amplifying brand visibility, consumer engagement, and driving more direct bookings.

Matt's current clients include the Sint Maarten Tourism Bureau, Office de Tourisme de Saint-Martin, Jamaica Tourist Board, Hyatt-Inclusive Collection, Grupo Posadas, and several independent hotels.

He served as Chief Marketing Officer of the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association, where he established collaborative partnerships with JetBlue, Mastercard, STR, and many other organizations. Matt honed his sales and partnership development skills by achieving great success for major brands including The New York Times, Conde Nast, and Travel Agent Magazine.

He began his career in public relations and marketing for Sandals and Beaches Resorts, and Allegro Resorts, where he was part of the launch team for Royal Hideaway in Playacar, Mexico.

He currently serves on the Board of Directors for HSMAI South Florida and remains involved as a volunteer with the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association and Greater Miami and Beaches Hotel Association.
