Executive Managing Director, Carillon Miami Wellness Resort

Carillon Miami Wellness Resort has recently appointed Patrick Fernandes, as Executive Managing Director. Mr. Fernandes comes from a wealth of hospitality experiences and will be working to enhance the Carillon community, world-class wellness experiences and overall leadership from all aspects.

Mr. Fernandes has more than 20 years of hospitality experience across a number of leading brands and brings a proven track record of creativity and innovation in delivering five-star service. Most recently, Mr. Fernandes served as Hotel Manager of Faena Hotel Miami Beach and was instrumental in helping it become the first independent hotel to achieve a Forbes Five Star rating in its inaugural year, as well as being named a Leading Hotel of the World and #1 Hotel in the USA by Condé Nast. Earlier in his career, Mr. Fernandes held various roles across the industry, serving as Director of Training and Quality at The Setai Miami Beach, an exclusive luxury hotel and residence; Senior Consultant at F&G Hospitality Consulting, a premiere hospitality consulting firm; and General Manager at InterContinental Hotels Group, a British multinational hospitality company.

Throughout his tenure at Carillon, Mr. Fernandes spearheaded a transformative approach emphasizing both holistic wellness and exceptional hospitality. Leveraging his extensive experience in the industry, he not only led the team towards unparalleled service but also championed initiatives to fortify Carillon’s dedication to wellness and sleep tourism. Recognizing the profound impact of quality rest on overall wellness, Mr. Fernandes facilitated many additions to the wellness experiences taking it from the spa into all areas of the resort always with an emphasis on Carillon's commitment to nurturing guests' physical and mental well-being, ensuring they depart feeling truly revitalized.
