Ryan Aubin joins us from Mills Park Hotel in Yellow Springs, Ohio as the owner of Mills Park Hotel.  Ryan has spent much of his career outside the hospitality industry working in a variety of marketing and sales roles.   Having worked at Mills Park Hotel as the Sales and Marketing Director for several years, he was presented with the opportunity to purchase the luxury boutique property in April of 2021.  He and his husband Alex now own the property that includes a full-service restaurant, event center, and mercantile.  They maintained profitability during the entire pandemic and saw a 22% growth in lodging sales during their first year of ownership, while decreasing expenses and continuing to deliver the incredible experience their property is known for.

Ryan is thrilled to be joining the advisory board for the Independent Hotel Show as he has been searching for venue he felt spoke directly to him, his property, and its needs.  Mills Park Hotel has directly benefited from the 2023 show, and Ryan is excited to help influence the course for show and its programming moving forward.
